Load SpeedJanePondy had a very slow load time and other people have had this
  • Paul Seiler (Unlicensed) to set up bug for the load issue and how it fails   - will be worked in next sprint.
  • Devs agree it is the API causing the issue, may be tied to load time of videos.
  • If the load isn't going to work it needs to either fail more obviously or retry itself without people needing to refresh.

  • Nigel is waiting on the new person in VBS to be onboard and up to speed. The deadline Nigel is expecting the content to be live

Maori Language SwitcherJane

The Maori Studies people would like the ability to switch their content between Maori & English. They would do the translation. We are going to say this is out of scope for the project but we need to give FHSS an idea of whether this is possible and if it is what is involved to do this in case they want to get this work funded.

Since we can't do this for them we were going to suggest making a Maori Language video may be a good interim solution.

  • API doesn't work with the context switcher
  • Could be done by setting up two blocks for each
  • Will talk more at Developer meeting
