Accommodation is really important (as I no want to live closer). Financing my studies (loans, scholarships, etc). Had to know this late Yr11, because it was Yr12 results that get submitted for scholarship consideration. How do I select by bas courses for year one so that I have the best options for 2nd/3rd year. Does the uni help me get a job once I have my degree? Am I best to enrol in one or multiple unis so ensure that I get accepted somewhere?

Entered Criminology and selected an introductory paper (because she knows she is only just starting out)
Costs are very important
"I am not really big on plans" but know that I need some information on lecture locations and times so I can plan things around job, travel, social activities.
Asked to return and find another subject. Entered Gender studies but courses was still the search option.
Guided to Future Students, Subjects.
Selected Criminology and was immediately hooked by the question in the first paragraph.
"I find it really hard going to read and try to understand all these numbers" meaning course codes when no full title is given.
Found career and related subjects useful.
We had flicked over to the old style site and she expressed a lot of criticism for this (font, size, dated look, etc).
Taken to the BA programme page:
Interesting. Show how a Vic BA looks and gives her a feel for it.
Likes ranking/stats on performance of the programme.

Additional notes from Anne
May have a gap year as a camp counsellor in the US
Interested in a range of topics, including gender studies and criminology.
Choices for first steps include About us (info about the university - which she calls 'the school'), L&T, Faculty - because of the subjects tht come out of it.
Exploring the site - starts with course finder. 'Sort of' recognises word 'undergraduate'
Found course codes etc confusing - "would need to go elsewhere to look that up, then come back".
Wants to see info in this order:
- Overview
- Detail on courses, points etc
- Careers info
Concerned about job at end? No - more a concern for her parents. She expects to think about this while at uni.
