Post-school options: Will study law at Vic. No doubts or questions. Set on law based on tv shows and books.
Want to know from website: Entry requirements. Might research more about other Law universities for a comparison. If interested would need to know more about accommodation, transport, social/support activities. Background reading and how I can best prepare myself.

Study at Vic
Starting on the home page:
Straight to Faculties and Schools, then Law, then about. Enjoyed/appreciated reading about the faculty and what it offered.
Surprised by what she found under Research and scholarship, as she was looking for what scholarships she could apply for to fund her law study. She really struggled to find this type of information anywhere on the website, and when she did the UI was horrible.
Went to Study and careers, then courses and appreciated the costings and books/readings. However, it was old, small and dull.
Was looking to know what courses were mandatory and where there were choices so clicked on the hyperlinked year after a 100 level course. Still did not say it was mandatory. "The book is required but what about the course?"
Guided back to home page and asked to find a subject. She said she would look for something about planning what to study, but saw Course FInder, typed law and was back with a listing of courses.
Could not see how to find the subject information.
Subject selected for Treejack: Need to match up with results in the tool
- Law
- History
- Ecomonics
Additional notes from Anne
Strong connection with social issues affecting Muslims, and personal experience of discrimination, led her to wanting to become a lawyer.
Familiar with Faculty of Law and that's a place she'd look.
Choose F&S as one of the cards in the first exercise
Wants to know what pre-work she could do.
Important: Course planning - how the degree is made up
Wellington useful because of connections through government and courts to work after uni.
