1Careers pages are focused on domestic opportunities and roles - are not relevant for international.

Send a couple of examples to Charles for feedback and suggestions - he has a really good view on what works for domestic as well as int.

Perhaps add a line to the top of every careers page (!?) saying something like: "This information tells you about jobs and workplaces in New Zealand. If you're likely to be working overseas, check out careers information and job sites for the country where you'll be working." Reluctant to repeat on every page. And could we improve that wording at all?

2Flow-on effect on homesite of change from subject to topics

A number of homesite pages refer to 'subjects' - with the change to topics, they will need to be updated - eg, what they say, how they say it. We aren't going to be using 'topic' either.

Recommend that we:

  • Identify pages that are affected
  • Plan for updating them (who, when, scope of work).

Poor stakeholder engagement with WIPII.

Examples of academic staff for content interview showing lack of engagement.

Highlights that the WIP comms don't appear to be going beyond the direct stakeholder groups we meet with.
