at the bottom of the page in 'Support for students'

change the second sentence to read:

There are all sorts of resources available to help you make the best of your time at Victoria.

(ie, delete 'and support'. If this is a difficult/lengthy task then please let me know first)

Andrew Bredenkamp says: this has been turned into a JIRA task WIP-1379 - Getting issue details... STATUS

In the 'After you graduate' box - the words in the link to CareersNZ should always read:

Search careers in xx on CareersNZ.

Note the name of the 'career' is always in lower caps eg Search careers in marketing or international business on CareersNZ. Apologies the writers have been inconsistent about this link.

1.5.0-2Jane Young (Unlicensed)For all triple crown mentions in both UG and PG

The AMBA logo needs to be changed to the one with the heart. It should be as below. Let me know if this logo isn't good enough quality.

Andrew Bredenkamp says: I've now replaced the existing image with this new one. Can someone please go through the pages that have this in place and confirm that they still look/function as they should.

1.5.0-3All requirements tabs

Every UG degree has an important information bullet that reads

The academic Calendar is the authoritative source of programme and course information.

Sometimes the word 'Calendar' links to stage.ac.nz/explore and other times it is a tool tip. Please ensure that it is always a tool tip, as with http://stage.victoria.ac.nz/explore/degrees/architectural-studies/requirements

1.4.4All degree requirements tabs

Why do we have green styling? See major requirements at http://stage.victoria.ac.nz/explore/degrees/building-science/requirements?international=true&major=sustainable-engineering-systems for an example. Looks odd and should be removed.

Further, so much bold doesn't print well and looks overpowering. Tone it back a little.

Hi Andrew - please change the treatment of the 'clock' block (length of full-time study) as follows:

  1. Split in to two unique blocks:
    1. Duration: For UG the values will be something like '3 years of full-time study' along with 'Can also be studied part-time', or for PG '4 trimesters of full-time study and 6 trimesters part-time' along with 'Can also be studied part-time'.
    2. Complete: For example '360 points (approximately 20 courses)' or '180 points (12 courses)'
      1. This title needs a tooltip for at least points, maybe also courses.

Joe Lobotka (Unlicensed) will have a little styling.

This change will provide some improvement for UG and make it suitable for PG (where we have more complexity to communicate). There are the values for both attributes for all UG degrees. All are changed in the wiki pages

Note that we have a tool tip to add to points, one that mentions both degrees and courses, so should go well in here.

Ive added a separate field for the iwi affiliation so it can be rendered differently depending on whether it is a quote or a people page asset. The servers are currently on hold as different testing is in place so I can't yet put the changes to dev-node or stage. So I've attached screenshots of how they will look here. Can I get confirmation that this is acceptable, then we will be able to apply these changes to the next release:

1.1.0Areas of Study, all /study tabs

As captured in a comment on WIP-1229 the standard text for leads to should be as follows:

  1. Leads to a... (name of profiled programme, hyperlinked)
  2. and other postgraduate options (hyperlinked)
  3. and to a ... (name of another programme, hyperlinked)

I think this wording is slightly better than what is live at the moment, but some of these changes will also be necessary for the internationalising, as we have a url to a set of programmes that is likely to include the one we featured in the first element.

Take advantage of the flexibility Victoria offers. Depending on your degree, you may be able to do a:

  • Double major—specialise in two subjects in your degree.
  • Second major from another degree—study a wider range of subjects without doing another degree.
  • Minor—specialise in a subject without doing as many courses as for a major.
  • Conjoint degree—this intense programme lets you cross-credit courses so you can complete two three-year degrees more quickly, usually in four years.
