It’s unclear whether adding new WordPress websites to SiteGround is Digital Solutions or Digital Engagement’s responsibility.

We can follow SiteGround’s documentation about adding a new site.

Websites on SiteGround usually start with a temporary domain - eg http://katherineh17.sg-host.com

This allows the site to be hidden from public view while it’s under development.

Once a WordPress site is ready to go live, we can attach an official domain to it.

The DS team procure the domain. They prefer to attach it to the site as well, but there are instructions on SiteGround in case we need to:
