Purpose
The purpose is to develop cross-team processes and find ways we can support researchers, whilst working within our resourcing.
The context
Research is core business of the University. Featuring our researchers' activities on our site is highly beneficial. It allows our audience to discover researchers and their work while enjoying a consistent user experience. Additionally, researchers benefit from increased visibility by leveraging the existing traffic to the University’s website, helping to amplify their activities to a broader audience.
Resourcing
From a resourcing perspective, we can more easily manage web pages within our platform than standalone sites. Content on Squiz is fully supported by Digital Engagement, including training in web best practices, software usage, and technical support.
