Changes to make when checking Requirements pages

 

Please go back and make these changes for any PG quals you have written that are not yet loaded.

 

1. In the 'Find out more' section at the bottom, if anything relates to Programme entry requirements, take it out and put in it a new section at the bottom of 'Entry Requirements' and call it 'Important information.'


2. Check that the sentence about the calendar being the authoritative source is in the Important Information as above. Delete the ‘Find out more' section at the bottom, unless there is something that needs to remain.


3. Take out the hypen in part-time ie
     Duration details: 2 trimesters of full-time study or 4 if studied part time

 

4. Remove all full stops that will end up appearing in the grey box ‘tables’. Leave them in Important Info. Remove bolding and points or courses.

 

5. Remove all ‘ands’ that appear between list items except where needed to be clear (possibly nowhere). Leave ‘either/ors’ in though, as they are needed for comprehension.

 

6. Important Information: Add a comma after ‘entry requirements’ and check the ‘of’ is in this sentence -

    ‘If you want to enrol in this programme but don’t meet some of the entry requirements, you should contact...’

 

7. Make sure the contact point above agrees with the names of contacts in the Apply and Contact page. Eg if you said contact the Faulty of Commerce, make sure it’s clear which is the contact for Faculty of Commerce on the A and C page.

 

8. Make sure there are intro sentences for each Entry, Programme and Subject requirements sections eg “For this degree you’ll need to:” and ‘In addition to the programme requirements, for this subject you’ll need to:

 

9. Where there are courses ranges, check they are ‘linkable’

    Eg Complete two courses from ACCY, ECON OR FINA 100-199 is wrong. It needs to say Complete two courses from ACCY 100-199, ECON 100-199 etc

 

10. On PG pages only, remove the 'at least' from "Complete at least xxx points..."
