Name
Pauline
Scenario
Pania's mum
Aged 46
Occupation: Health services manager
Lives in Otaki with her partner and Pania.
Pania's sister has been talking to her and now Pania is thinking about going down to Wellington next year and doing a degree at Victoria! Pauline thinks this is a great idea - Pania's sister did really well there and loved living in Wellington (she's now in Sydney).
It would be good for Pania to spread her wings. Also, she's home on her own a lot - Pauline travels a lot for her work, and her partner works long hours.
However, Pania isn't like her sister - she's quieter and much more of a homebody. Pauline worries that she might not cope as well - she wants to know what support the university provides for new students, especially around orientation and joining the Halls. Pauline also worries about safety - she knows it's silly, but Pania is her youngest leaving home ... she wants to know that accommodation is well run and safe for her daughter.
