To be accepted into this programme you'll need:


A Master of Educational Psychology at this University, or a similar qualification elsewhere, with a B+ average for all coursework

At least 45 points from approved courses in Psychology at 200 or 300 level with an average grade of B or above 

Acceptance by the Associate Dean (Students) of the Faculty of Education as capable of proceeding with the proposed course of study

  • Starting the PGDipEPP is contingent on he availability of an approved internship placement with the Ministry of Education and a community service provider, a satisfactory police check and acceptance by the New Zealand Psychologists Board to be registered as an Intern Psychologist.
