MUST
- Deliver new page with structure of topics prior to Oct 1, ready for core recruitment period
- This will replace the current subject listing > http://www.victoria.ac.nz/study/programmes-courses/subjects
- The UG and PG study pages will link to the new topics page
- Will use the term subjects not topics
- Will be built in Squiz
SHOULD
- Metadata for subjects
- Use images for topics (see wireframe)
COULD
- Filter UG and PG topics and subjects for UG and PG pages in study
Resource
- Paul Seiler (Unlicensed) to do create the mapping
- Andrew Bredenkamp to build the structure in Squiz
- Joe Lobotka (Unlicensed) to work on the design from the current topic wireframe
- Chrissi Dean (Unlicensed) to manage the consultation, sign off and plan
Timeframe & plan
- Deadline of Oct 1st
- Andrew and Paul's work to commence in sprint 20
- Joe to pick up UI development around COO work at the end of sprint 20/start of sprint 21

Risks/Implications
- Sign off from key stakeholders on delivery
- Other implications of release timings i.e. with student recruitment
- Groupings will not align with any university publications
- Other project work impacting delivery i.e. COO time for Joe
- Other unplanned working impacting delivery
- If not delivered before 1st Oct may have to wait until after Tri 1 enrolment
- Metadata would need to be signed off by faculties and schools
- Images used may need to be signed off by F&S's - noting that topics do not break down into singular areas so there would be overlap of sign off
- Topics and subjects will not be filtered down into UG and PG for those pages in study, however the subjects are not currently filtered on the UG page e.g. Nursing, Midwifery and Health
- If we need need to filter UG and PG topics and subjects, the tagging solution would need to be in place
Consultation/sign off
- Review with Nigel
- Present to Mads (tbc if via PMO)
- Document all consultation to date with F&S's
- Review with PVC's with Mads
- Present to Faculty Managers
