Planning | Jane | How do people feel they are tracking on the current priorities? | Looking at the decision points and goals of Sprint 17 it is much more likely that it will be the end of sprint that we will have all the information. We particularly haven't thought much yet about the sizing and estimates. It would be good to also include creating a framework for feedback and recommendations on who is involved and the final sign-off.
Delivery approach | Paul | Do we change the current plan of developing new faculty sites in phase 2? Please read - WIP-462Getting issue details... STATUS
| Anne and Sam like the idea of option 2 where the content is handled by 'type' - all of Programmes, all of staff information etc. Another benefit is that the impact on the user is going to be less - the final Faculties sites will be done closer together and therefore students who are involved with more than one Faculty won't have this confusion. Doing this way would mean we were treating the most important content/functionality first. | |
Mapping goals from user research to personas | Paul | I have drafted two for future students (domestic, straight from school). See comment on Web personas. | Best to wait until the Current Students research and documentation is further along. Sam Motion (Unlicensed) could then write up personas for Current Students.
The 'big picture' pitch | Sam | Let's start developing a pitch/narrative that encompasses the many angles of our work, i.e, faculty and school sites, the rest of 'their' content, topics, reusable content... | Discuss the ideas for how to approach pitching the proposed approach. This needs to include Chrissi and Nigel. It would also be good to include people from the BAU particularly as it will be a good opportunity for everyone to develop these solutions for use on other projects aswell. We will look at dedicating the next catch up to discussing different presentation approaches.
Mapping school subjects to our offering | Paul | Do we have sufficient detail to build on? See Subjects in secondary schools |
