Background

The apply now button has been envisaged to include a countdown. This button appears on every tab of the programme section and in the footer of the programme section.

...

1. Create the information we need to have data information automatically update
2. Create a standard apply button and look at delaying the countdown as the next apply date isn't until May. 
3. Create the button with the dates but it would need to be manually updated. 
4. Consider whether this approach is needed
   • SAS like it as it creates a sense of urgency - boxes with dates are already used on homesite so not having this could be seen as a step backwards. 
   • I assume students/influencers also like to know these dates

Decision

Go with solution 2 and create a button which on says 'Apply Now' and points here http://www.victoria.ac.nz/study/apply-enrol/apply

Action items

•  Paul Seiler (Unlicensed) please update the User Story which relates to the Apply Now button and potentially create one for the future which includes a countdown.
