Let's use this page to map out our user/usability testing needs: who, what, when.

Who

 What do we need to know?Online/anon or face to face? When  Additional ethics approval required?
Secondary school students

(Year 12 and/or 13)

What are they looking for when they come to the Vic site to find out about a topic/career (eg, accounting), interest area (eg, working in developing countries) or programme ("I might just do a BA").

Explore:

  • their understanding of navigation labels and terminology (eg, undergraduate, subject, programme, course)
  • the usefulness of the current subject page - ask them what they want/need to find out
  • perception of school and faculty sites - what relevance might they have at this stage
