  • Ready for VBS to check.

Entry requirements

  • Before enrolment, a candidate for the GCertCom shall have:
    • completed a BCom degree;
    • satisfied the prerequisites (listed in the subject requirements section below) for the subject to be presented; and
    • been accepted by the appropriate Head of School or the Programme Director as capable of proceeding with the proposed course of study.

Supplementary information

  • Students who wish to enrol for the BCom(Hons) but don't have a BCom or haven't satisfied all the prerequisites should contact the Victoria Business School to discuss their suitability for a possible exemption.
  • While entry to the BCom(Hons) normally requires a BCom (or equivalent), selection is determined by academic merit and by interview. Students with consistent undergraduate grades of B or better in core 300-level courses are well placed for consideration. However, entry decisions are made on a case-by-case basis, and the most important criteria for entry are an enthusiasm for the programme, a demonstrable ability to think critically, a confidence with written and oral communication, and a curiosity and an eagerness to question ideas and practices.

Programme requirements

  • Total of 120 points required.
