  • Acceptance by the relevant Programme Director or Head of School as capable of proceeding with the proposed course of study.

Important information

  • While entry to the BCom(Hons) normally requires a BCom (or equivalent), selection is determined by academic merit and by interview. Consistent undergraduate grades of B or better in core 300-level courses will place you well for consideration. However, entry decisions are made on a case-by-case basis, and the most important criteria for entry are an enthusiasm for the programme, a demonstrable ability to think critically, a confidence with written and oral communication, and a curiosity and an eagerness to question ideas and practices.

Programme requirements

Complete at least 120 points, of which:

  • At least 30 points is for a research project
  • At least 120 points is at 400 level.

Questions

  1. Is there anything else to say about the structure that applies to all subjects?
  2. Subject requirements: Is there a standard definition/tool tip for 'approved'?
  3. Should we make a 'Complete one elective course' requirement to prompt students to plan properly?
