Duration/intensity

The BE(Hons) represents four years of full-time study and may also be studied part-time.


Entry Requirements

To be accepted into the BE(Hons) you need to

  • achieve University Entrance for at least one of the admission types.

Degree requirements

  • Complete at least 480 points, of which:
    •  At least 120 points must be at 400 level and above, and listed for the BE(Hons).
  • Complete the requirements for at least one major subject (see below).
  • Complete at least 800 hours employment or work experience in an approved engineering environment.
  • Obtain at least a B average across all Part 1 courses to be admitted in to Part 2.

Important information

"300-level courses may only be counted towards one major or minor."
