Entry requirements
Before enrolment, a candidate for the CertMS shall:
Have had at least three years of practical experience in management or administration at a level acceptable to the Programme Director; and
Have been accepted by the Programme Director as capable of proceeding with the proposed course of study.
Supplementary information
- The programme is intended for persons with no formal training in management, and can be completed over one year of evening study. At the end of the programme, you will have a recognised qualification that will increase your potential for career advancement.
Certificate requirements
- Total of 60 points required (recommended one year part-time study).
- Complete four courses:
- CMSP 801
- CMSP 802
- CMSP 803
- Either CMSP 804 or CMSP 805.

We have a stair-casing approach to building your qualifications and managerial confidence. Depending on your performance (a B average or higher) you may then choose to ‘stair-case’ into one of our post experience diplomas which extend your knowledge and allow you to specialise in Business Administration, Human Resources or Marketing. From the Postgraduate Diplomas there is also an opportunity to stair-case to the MBA.
