Work in progress

This work will be informed by our own observations as well as working with Faculty and School representatives.  Changes to the subject groupings need to be reflected here. Proposed changes are being discussed here.

Hard link vs soft link

A hard link is where a subject (inclusive of topics and mega-areas) has a direct, high priority relationship with another subject.

A soft link denotes a more loosely related subject.

These are separated for now as they may have different design treatments. (E.g special promotion area for hard links and standard 'related things' treatment for soft links)

Alternate terms

These could include keywords for metadata/search purposes, common contractions and other alternate words.

Master of Biomedical Science (MBmedSc) - by coursework

Although you can study a BBmedSc, you must select from one of three majors where Biomedical science is not an option. By our rules this means that this subject is not available at the UG level, which is misleading and unhelpful. So, in the content please state that while this subject leads to specialised degree, it is actually one of the three following subjects that must be "studied"
Clinical Immunology    Master of Clinical Immunology (MClinIm)
Drug Discovery and Development    Master of Drug Discovery and Development (MDDD)No web page yet, but listed as a specialised master in School of Biological Science
Human genetics   Bachelor of Biomedical Science (BBmedSc)
Molecular pathology   Bachelor of Biomedical Science (BBmedSc)
Molecular pharmacology and medicinal chemistry   Bachelor of Biomedical Science (BBmedSc)
