- Before enrollment, a candidate for the GDipTchg(Primary) shall have:
- Completed a degree of a tertiary institution in New Zealand or overseas equivalent;
- Demonstrated through an assessment exercise the qualities necessary for a satisfactory teacher.
- Been accepted by the Associate Dean (Students) as a candidate for the diploma.
