You'll be joining a dynamic community of research students at Master's and doctoral levels, including a number of international students. Recent postgraduate topics have ranged across a broad swathe of musical creativity, including inventing new mechatronic instruments, composing music to be performed across a network, composing large-scale works for jazz big band and composing an opera.

Postgraduate research students at NZSM get their own workspace in the School.
