Programme structure

The Master of Public Management (MPM) is integrated with the Postgraduate Certificate and the Postgraduate Diploma in Public Management, which provide stepping stones to the full MPM for those who are uncertain whether they can commit to the entire programme.

Thoughts and questions

  • Graphic to show nested or stair-cased programmes
  • Need one word/phrase to describe the stair-cased, integrated, stepping stones.
  • Is it easier to get an entry requirement exemption for the PGCert than the PGDip? For the PGDip than the MPM?

Thoughts and questions

  • Not sure that my course range for the last programme requirement will give the same result as the schedule (but I have no easy way of returning the courses in the schedule online so have tried this).

  • There don't seem to be four optional (elective?) courses (as mentioned in the last bullet under supplementary information above). I seem to have three plus the research course. Is this also optional?
