"Imagery is certainly not my strong point but I would suggest the image needs to immediately scream 'the world'. If we can’t use faces then that could be a globe (I always like the view of the world from space at night showing the lights of urban centres), an international meeting (UN, G20 etc), a map of the world etc… The key thing is that it needs to be international and can’t just be boring leaders and/or military (i.e. the chessboard image). Alternatively, we could go micro and choose an image of an IR issue that is topical in the news. This could be something like an image of boats full of migrants on the Mediterranean, a contrast of flash urban development and a poor farming community, a financial market collapsing… etc" |
