In order to write the content we will need the following information. We don’t expect you to have this done before our meeting but it would be good to start thinking about it.
- Key selling points for the studying programmes; why study XXXXXXXX at a postgraduate level
- Any pain points for prospective students that the content might be able to alleviate, e.g. questions you get a lot that .often get asked.
- Information about the student experience - what resources and opportunities you supply postgraduate students with e.g. equipment, space, field trips, support to attend conferences, networking opportunities, seminar series, research groups etc.
- Funding – are there specific scholarships available, paid opportunities through for them through the school – tutoring, research assistants etc.
- How to apply information
- List of staff and their teaching areas. We would need:
- Title/Honorific & Name
- Link to staff profile
- Area they teach – general area as opposed to specific courses, you can see an example of this on the MAF people page.
- Stories (guidelines attached) – these can be new or existing stories. We would usually have the following but the mix can vary. To go live we need a minimum of one story or a maximum of five.this varies depending on what is available:
- a current student story talking about the experience of studying at the school/Victoria
- a person who completed a postgraduate qualification their qualification a few years ago and how it has positively impacted their career
- a staff member talking about their passion for the subject, teaching etc.
Could you let me know when would work for you to have a meeting.
Thanks
Jane
