  • how the programme is taught e.g. lectures, seminars, tutorials, workshops.
  • any special topics, options to focus on areas of interest
  • study while you work heading - More detail than in At-a-glance - Required contact time element, How different offerings help you study while working (part-time, offerings that are in evenings, weekends, blocks/modules)
  • how the classes are run, details of any research, information about assessment.

Essence statements:

These will be like a description or introduction, a 160 character summary of what the qualification is, who it’s for and what its key benefits are. They’ll clearly distinguish between similar qualifications (e.g. public policy and public management).

These essence statements will also be used to introduce each qualification on the requirements tab.

Higher degrees

Information about what you have to do if you want to progress to the next qualification up.

Links to options

Can include a note advising when programmes don't have the research component you need to do PhD.
