Programme structure
The Master of Education (MEd) is integrated with the Postgraduate Certificate and the Postgraduate Diploma in Education. Students are encouraged to consider enroling in the MEd but can choose to enrol in the Postgraduate Certificate or Diploma as a first step into postgraduate study.

Entry requirements
To be accepted into this programme you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree with a major in Education, Psychology or a related discipline, or an approved teacher education degree, or a Bachelor's degree and a Diploma of Teaching from an approved institute for teacher education, with an average grade of B or above;
- hold a middle or senior management position in a secondary school; and been accepted by the above and
- Acceptance by the relevant Associate Dean (Students) as capable of proceeding with the Faculty proposed course of Educationstudy.

- Students who wish to enrol enroll for the MEd this programme but don't meet some the entry requirements should contact the Faculty of Education to discuss their suitability for a possible exemptionoptions.

SupplementaryImportant information
- Standard ones on Requirements of PG programmes
- Students who wish to enrol in EDUC 585 or EDUC 590 will need to achieve an average grade of B or above for all their postgraduate course work and a B+ or better in EDUC 503.
- Students currently enroled in a BA(Hons) in Education who wish to transfer to the 180 point MEd may do so but will be required to abandon their Honours qualification. Students who have completed a BA(Hons) in Education who wish to enrol in the MEd must complete EDUC 503 and a further courses worth 90 points from those listed for the MEd.
