Degree requirements

  • Total of 360 points required (typically recommended 120 points/year), including.
  • Of the 360 points:
    • Maximum of 180 points from  must be at 100 - level courses.
    • Minimum of 180 points from points must be at 200 and 300 - level courses.
  • Complete six core courses at 100 level (usually in the first year):
    • BIOL 111
    • BMSC 114
    • BMSC 117
    • CHEM 114
    • PSYC 122
    • MATH 141 or STAT 193.
  • Complete three core courses at 200 level (usually in the second year):
    • BIOL 241
    • BIOL 243
    • BIOL 244.
  • Satisfy the requirements for at least one major subject.
  • Electives courses to make up the 360 points may be chosen from any other first degree at this university.
