Comments

  • The BBmedSc requirements were easy to understand and the course options are clear and succinct.
  • We can resource the development of a No visual representation of this degree for each of the three main majors.
    • Do we need a version for a double major?
  • For structured degrees (e.g. BAS) we have added a clause to set an expectation that 100-level courses are done in the first year and so on. Does it help or hinder to do this for the BSc? I can show you the examples when we meet.
  • Wherever possible I have rewritten major requirements that specified a number of points as a number of courses. This was only possible where all courses in the level and subjects had the same point value. Is this okay? It does seem an unnecessary complexity to have this mix between majors in the same degree. Will new courses in the same level and subjects have the same point values? If not, maintenance of the requirements is a little harder.
double majors required at this stage.
  • I have removed the rule (#2 on pg 141 of the 2016 Calendar) that 300-level courses may only be counted towards one major and leave this with you to address officially.
