Degree requirements

1. Total points required: 360
2. Minimum points from courses listed for the BBSc or BAS: 270
3. Minimum points from 200 and 300-level courses listed for the BBSc or BAS: 180
4. Minimum points from 200 and 300-level courses (including the 180 in Requirement 3 above): 210
5. Minimum points from 300-level courses listed for the BBSc or BAS: 90
6. Complete the following eight 100-level courses:
   
   1. SARC111
   2. SARC121
   3. SARC122
   4. SARC131
   5. SARC151
   6. SARC161
   7. SARC162
   8. An additional 15 points from 100-level elective courses
7. Course substitution: SARC122 may be replaced with an elective course (i.e. course of your choice) if you have gained a minimum of 14 NCEA level 3 credits in two of: Calculus, Physics, and Statistics.
8. Selection for second year is based on academic performance across all the first year courses. Historically, an ???? average has been sufficient to be selected.
9. Satisfy the requirements for a minimum of one major subject selected from the list drop down list below.
